New language requirements for doctors effective as of July 1st, 2023

In the summer of 2020, Parliament adopted a new legal framework for the licensing of doctors allowed to bill for the basic compulsory health insurance (OKP). With immediate effect, doctors will have to demonstrate their language skill knowledge to be at C1 level proficiency, a level higher than previously required.
